In collaboration with Korea Research Institute of Standard and Science (KRISS), Samyong has started a R&D project to establish data-base for non-destructive testing applicable to industrial sites. Besides on Samyong, many industry-leading companies, R&D institute and academia including Doosan Heavy Industries, KAIST, Hanyang University, KAERI, etc. participate in the project. 

This project aims to secure high-quality data on non-destructive technology and establish an actual AI solution and solution evaluation system. In particular, AI solution aims to secure more than 95% of reliability for detecting defection. 

The data obtained through this project will be a essential foundation for the development AI solution and evaluation system that help non-destructive inspectors in the future. The researchers will also develop AI solutions for non-destructive inspection areas such as material strength, semiconductor inspection, hydrogen infrastructure inspection, heat transport piping inspection, automobile part inspection, etc. 

Through this project, Samyong will actively develop and introduce new NDT techniques using AI and new technologies in the future and lead Korean NDT industry.
